The town has long been an elegant and refined spa centre, offering lively cultural and social events throughout the year; the emblem and centre of this spa town is the well-known Terme Berzieri building: a historically and artistically important spa centre built in a splendid Art Déco style with oriental motifs.

Tabiano is well-known for its sulphur springs (with a high hydrogen sulphide content and a high percentage of calcium salts); the waters are particularly suitable for treatment of skin diseases and diseases to the respiratory apparatus. Its renown is linked in particular to Marie Louise of Austria, who had the first thermal centre built in this spa town.

Sant’Andrea Bagni is found in the hills and boasts the presence of hot water springs with different chemical compositions (bicarbonate-alkaline-muddy waters, waters containing sodium chloride, bromium and iodide, ferruginous-potassium waters, waters containing sulphur and magnesium) suitable for various types of therapeutic treatments.

An authentic little jewel found at the foot of the hills in the province of Parma. The spa at Monticelli makes use of water containing sodium chloride, bromium and iodide which is rich in salts and particularly in bromium.
