The Terme Berzieri, have become the symbol of spa care in the city of Salsomaggiore and throughout Europe.
Unique as the only example of an art déco spa, the Terme were designed by architects Ugo Giusti and Giulio Bernardini and were inaugurated in 1923.
They owe their magnificence to the extraordinary artistic talent of Galileo Chini, internationally-famed ceramicist, painter and a master of the decorative arts and the Italian art déco style, who drew his inspiration for the decorations in the “Salsomaggiore Temple of Health” from his experience in Bangkok (1911-1914) under the patronage of the Royal Family.
The building is host to the “Tempio di Igea”, an extensive spa water beauty farm that offers a wide range of wellness and personal beauty services and treatments.
The Terme Berzieri are ideal for conventions e business meetings and up-scale events.
The services offered at its wellness centre represent a significant perk and calling card that are second to none.
